They protected Ukraine” in Lviv, on Friday, April 17, 2009. Lviv Oblast State Administration and Oblast Council say that they have no attitude towards establishing of stands. The press office of the City Council does not rule out that the city light can be a “social advertising”. According to the words of representatives of advertising sphere the stands can be financed by city authorities because there are no data about company – customer. Press secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Poland Petr Pashkovskiy said to Dzennik newspaper that this case will not be without reaction. The matter is that the case will become known because of negative attitude towards the division in Poland. Some people still accuse some its subdivisions of carrying out actions against Polish guerrillas. Polish web sites have already have a lot of information like this kind “The division formed in 1943 from Ukrainian volunteers became known because of hunt for guerrillas in Lyublinshchina and mass murders of civil population”. 14th Grenadier Division of the Waffen SS 'Galicia' (1st Ukrainian) – was formed from Ukrainian volunteers, who called themselves Galician SS, and folk deutsche. The forming of 14th Grenadier Division of the Waffen SS 'Galicia' (1st Ukrainian) started on April 28, 1943. The subdivisions of this devision participated in anti-guerilla war in all territory of Europe from autumn 1943. The division of the first admission was destroyed by the Soviet troops in July 1944.
