The UNIAN Archive. Vitaly Meshin, the ouster Head of the Milolaev-based Alumina Factory (MAF) in the corridor of the NAF management corps. On Wednesday, July 7, 1999 the representatives of the Law-enforcement Bodies forced Meshin to leave the General Director's private office. According to the source of information, after the incident, Sergey Grishenko - the first deputy Minister of Industrial Policy, occupied the working place. Meshin was retired according to the resolution passed by the National Agency on the State Corporative Rights Management on June 24, 1999. The term, appointed for the Court Consideration of the Meshin's appeal about his removal, will be over by the July 9. MAF - is the first-rate supplier of the raw materials for the aluminum producing in the CIS countries. According to the Western experts' data, the MAF price makes up $1 billion. Today 55% of the factory shares are the privacy of the State.
