Ternopil dwellers on the annual requiem on the town cemetery (Sunday, July 4, 1999). That day in 1941, after the Soviet Army withdrawal, 300 shot prisoners were found in the Ternopil-based prison. The same day their bodies were buried on the town cemetery. The place was put in order; the monument and gravestones were installed, after Ukraine had become the Independent State.
