Yurii Buzduhan

On May 27, 2000, Saturday, in Kyiv, leader of the Social Democratic Party of Ukraine, Yurii Buzduhan, states, at the 13th congress of the party, that the SDPU intends to actively participate in formation of the left-wing centrist opposition block at the parliamentary elections of 2002. He also said that the resignation of Viktor Yushchenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine, will be a strong impetus to creation of the bipolar opposition of the left-wing and right-wing centrist blocks. The SDPU leader is sure that the right-wing centrists will unite round Yushchenko and left-wing centrists - round Oleksandr Moroz, leader of the Socialist Party of Ukraine.
