Alexander Horobets

The reinstated a day before by the Court Decision editoor-in chief of the "Pravda Ukrainy"(Truth of Ukraine) newspaper Alexander Horobets (center) shows to the newspaper's collaborators the Court resolution in his former office in the in "Pravda Ukrainy" office in Kyiv, Thursday, May 25, 2000. According to him the present editor-in-chief Olga Pronina, on May 25 Horobets with four strangers (one of them of the photo, left) rushed into the editor's office, trying to get the fulfillment of the Court resolution. The newspaper collaborators blocked the entrance to the editor's office and called militia. In the evening of May 24 the initial journalist organization of the newspaper expressed no-confidence to Horobets and is going to conduct the meeting with the Horobets, to let him know the decision of the collective, which is the co-founder of the edition.
