Alexander Gorobets

The UNIAN archive. Former Editor-in-chief of the "Pravda Ukrainy" (Truth of Ukraine) newspaper Alexander Gorobets on the dock during one of the sitting of the восстановил Vatutinskyi Regional Court in Kyiv on the end of April, 1999. Horobets was arrested on September, 1988, in accordance with the declaration of the newspaper's collaborator "Lyudmila Kalinina. The letter blamed Horobets in attempt of violation. On May 24, 1999 the Court declared Horobets guilty on the accusation in "solicitation in getting in sexual intercourse". Exactly after a year, on Wednesday, May 24, 2000, the Court reinstated Horobets in his previous position of the "Pravda Ukrainy" editor-in chief. Photo by UNIAN
