Within the framework of commemoration of the 91st anniversary of the Battle of Kruty Victor Yushchenko visited Litky village, where 24 soldiers, killed in the battle were buried. Ukraine marks the memorial day of 300 Ukrainian students that were killed during the battle with Red Army near Ukrainian Kruty station in 1918 and who are regarded as one of the symbols of struggle of Ukraine for independence.
