Underwater museum of monuments to communist leaders
UNIAN ARCHIVE. At the 14 metres depth an amateur scuba diver shines a light at the bust of Lenin while viewing the underwater museum of monuments to communist leaders of the former Soviet Union in the Black sea resort Cape Tarkhankut on the Crimean Penninsula, 200 kilometres west of Simferopol. The museum has was created by amateur scuba divers in 1992. On Saturday, April 22, 2000 communists celebrate birthday of USSR founder Vladimir Lenin.
