Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and her Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin after their meeting in Moscow, January 17, 2009. The prime ministers of Ukraine and Russia said that an understanding was reached on resuming gas transit to European consumers in the near future. Yulia Tymoshenko noted that the instructions where given to the Gazprom and Naftogaz executives to prepere the entire package of documents by Monday.
