During the days of celebrating the 20th anniversary of Spitak tragedy, we uneasily recollect fatal December of 1988 when in a flash fierce elements broke fates of hundreds of thousands of people, – Viktor Yanukovych said. – I am sure that Spitak will be in our memory forever reminding that trouble can be overcame only all together without dividing each other on national or any other basis. For this purpose we should get closer and all together continue the work on development of our countries, increasing our people's living standard. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan thanked Viktor Yanukovych for his work during liquidation of the consequences of earthquake and his personal contribution to the renewal of Armenia. "We are obliged to You and all those who in the time difficult for us rescued the people and later helped to revive the suffered regions", Serzh Sargsyan said.
