Emomali Rakhmon (Rakhmonov)

President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon during the official meeting with President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko in Kiev, Thursday, December 4, 2008. The Ukrainian leader decorated Emomali Rahmon with the Order of Yaroslav Mudry (the Wise) of Ist degree for a big contribution into strengthening of Ukrainian-Tajik relations. In his turn, the Tajik President decorated the Ukrainian Head of State with Ismoili Somoni Order of Ist degree.Rahmon came to Kiev on December 3 for a three-day visit.
