Mrs. Gritsko-Onufrieva spent all her life in the farm, far from her husband Petr Onufriev, who was sent after the World War II to serve in the Far East Navy. There he risen till the rank of Rear-admiral. Mrs. Gritsko-Onufrieva's brother in the beginning of thirties was called-up to serve in the Black Sea Fleet and also became the Rear-admiral.
