Don Sphinx cat

Don Sphinx cat, one of the participants of the First All-Ukrainian Hit-Rating "The Animal of 1999" poses to the photographers together with her owner in the Rating's final on Sunday, March 5, 2000, in Kyiv. The each rating participant is the Champion of its own breed. The Rating is carried out in the framework of the Charitable program "Alive Planet - XXI century", supported by the Party of Greens of Ukraine, the State Department of the Veterinary Medicine, the Center "Animals in Town" and the other public environment- and animal- preserving and youth funds and organizations. Dogs, cats, birds and the exotic animal took part in the rating. The basic thesis of the rating is "Each Animal- homeless cat, any predator, aquarium fish, a man - is the compound of our planet's nature and has a right for life and humane treatment; the good for ones, will not be cause by the bad and death for another".
