ARCHIVE UNIAN Former milkmaid Paraska Korolyuk from v. Dorogychevka, Zalisivsky district, Ternopol region during Orange revolution in Kiev on the 8th of December, 2005. On the 24th of August, 2005 President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko rewarded her with Order of princess Olga of third degree during the celebration in honour of the 14th anniversary of Independence Day of Ukraine. Korolyuk has lived all the revolution at Maidan Nezalezhnosty, she was daily at first lines of Maidan-s defenders in orange cape and bands and she became the original talisman of Maidan. ?I could not bear Kuchma, Kravchuk, Bandyukovichi had stolen our holding, pensions, money, all the beauty and gave us Kravchuchki, and we had to go to beggary¦, - she said in her speech.
