Drunken men sleep on a bench in central Kiev, Wednesday, August 17, 2005. Scientists in Novosibirsk suggest to treat alcoholics by flogging. This method of therapy was proposed at International Scientific conference “New methods of medical treatment in narcology”. Russian scientists suppose that a motive for alcoholism is reducing of endorphins, so called hormones of happiness, and flogging can activate cultivating of these hormones in organism.
