The pilots carry the grave with the body of Oleg Zhilin, An-12 Airplane's crew's commander on the territory of the t. Zaporozhia-based military settlement of pilots, on Sunday, November 21, 1999. Zhilin, the former commander of the Zaporozhian regiment of the military-transport aviation, disbanded in 1997, piloted the Ukrainian cargo plane AN-12, which had blown up when flying up in the Zaire-based airport on November 10, 1999. Igor Karzhenkov, the Zhilin's son in law died in Eritrey in the accident of the IL-78 crew a year before, on July 17, 1998. The other crew's members were the natives of Dzhankoy, the Crimea. The Zhilin's body was committed to earth on the Kapustyanoe cemetery. Some 500 people took part in the farewell ceremony, the most part of which were - pilots.
