Alexander Moroz
Alexander Moroz, the leader of SPU, buys sunflower seeds in the center of Kyrovograd. Then he enters the Building of the Trade Unions Soviet, where the press-conference with journalists will take place (Saturday, June 19, 1999). On the 18-19th of June Moroz visited the Kirovogradskaya Oblast and met there with communal organizations. In the course of meetings Moroz expressed confidence, that he would pass the 2nd round of the President elections. According to A. Moroz 'it doesn't matter for him, who will be the other competitor', as 'the present President has no chances either to pass the 2nd round, or to win the elections.
