The members of the group of independent deputies, who joined neither the Majority nor the Minority of the cleaved Ukrainian Parliament: Sergey Golovatyi, Dmitry Chobit, Anatolyi Matvienko, Alexander Moroz and Alexander Elyashkevich on the joined press-conference in the UNIAN agency, in Kyiv, on Monday, February 7, 2000. During the press-conference Mr. Moroz, the Leader of the Socialist Party's Parliamentary Fraction declared, that he does not exclude the strengthening of the pressure on the independent Mass Media from the side of the "Verchovna Rada" conflict initiators". He marked that the "raid" on the foreign independent Mass Media, which have their office in Ukraine, in particular, BBC radio, "Voice of America", "Freedom" is not excluded as well in the nearest future.
