The ZAZ-1103 "Slavuta"

The ZAZ-1103 "Slavuta" car with the new engine, made on the Melitopol-based Engine-producing Works, on January 30, 2000. The designers of aforesaid works introduced a number of changes in the ZAZ-1103 "Slavuta" car's engine. Today the working volume of the engine MeMz-2457 makes up 1.2litres, capacity - 60 horse-power. The engine got those particularities on the account of principal changes of crankshaft (the crank's length is 3.25mm longer now) and piston (its stroke had increased from 67 till 73.5 mm, while the pistols themselves became 3.25 mm. shorter).
