COMM A dweller of a tent camp 50-year-old Viktor Lyashenko, private businessman from town Nova Kakhovka, Kherson area, that had tried to commit self-immolation at the Constitution square in front of Ukrainian Parliament in Kiev on Friday, July 8, 2005. Viktor Lyashenko, the owner of a private enterprise “Atlas”, has built a trade center in Nova Kakhovka with his family for eight years, however, by his words, former mayor of the town, Kherson’s area governor now, Borys Silenkov has seized his property. Viktor Lyashenko has tried to obtain justice in Kiev’s courts but without result. Such situation reduced him to despair and he tried to commit self-immolation. Firemen quickly extinguished the fire and doctors rendered him first aid.
