Konstantin Ognevoy

The UNIAN Archive. Constantine Ognevoy, the famous Ukrainian tenor died after the enduring disease being 74 years old, in Kyiv, December 12, 1999. Constantine Ognevoy was born on September 30, 1926, in Dnipropetrovsk, in 1955-1973 - he was the soloist of the Kyiv's Opera, from 1972 - the National Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, in 1973-1978 - he was the soloist of the National Philharmonic Society, from 1984 - he was the professor of the Kyiv's Conservatory. He established his vocal school and till the last days of his life taught his students. Photo by UNIAN
