Vasilyi Yanov

The UNIAN Archive. Vasilyi Yanov, 48, Gipsy by birth, the fattest man in Ukraine, lies in his bed and looks though his family photo-album, in his house, Zitomir outskirts, July 20, 1999. Vasilyi weighted last time four years ago, then his weight was 450kg. He had awfully taken on since that time. The latest years he had spent in bed. Maybe, Vasilyi is the fattest man in the world. A month ago Vasilyi tried to make an operation in one of the Kyiv's hospitals, trying to loose his weight. A few days ago he had died. Photo by UNIAN
