Participants in beauty competition

The 24 participants of the final of the "Miss Odessa 2000" and "Miss Ukraine South 2000" contests on the stage of Odessa-based Opera and Ballet Theater on Tuesday, December 28, 1999. Some 400 girls from the three Southern Regions of Ukraine took part in the contest "Miss Odessa 2000" and "Miss Ukraine South 2000",. The Contest was organized by the National Committee "Miss Ukraine South" under the patronage of Ruslan Bodelan, the Odessa Mayor. Daria Khrichenko, 15, a native of Kherson became the Ukrainian South's Beauty, while Yana Vaselova, the pupil of the 10th form of the Odessa-based Gymnasium №7 got the crown "Miss Odessa 2000".
