Andrey Zolotov
The UNIAN Archive. Andrey Zolotov, 16, who died on November 25,1998. On Wednesday, November 10, 1999, on the Militia Holiday, in The Sebastopol-based Lenin Court the first hearing of the civil case on the claim of Vivat Beloborodov, the Militia Lieutenant-General, the former Head of the Office of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Sebastopol lodged against the editorial staff of the "Slava Sebastopolya" newspaper and the City State TV-Radio-company for the defense of honor and dignity took place. On November 25, 1998 in the district of the suburban cooperative "Dergachy" Vivat Beloborodov tried to seize two teenagers on suspecting of the steal of property from the country lot. As a result, one of the boys, Andrey Zioolotov, was killed from the general's time-board arms (Stechkin's pistol), while the second one - was seriously wounded. According to the case, when events coverage, the defendants hurt the Beloborodov's honor and dignity. The total sum of the moral damage the general estimated for Hr120 thousands.
