The Lanos

The Lanos, the Compact-class car, produced by the Ukrainian-Korean JV "AutoZAZ-DAEWOO" is showed on the Seventh International Autosalon SIA 99 in Kyiv in the National Exhibition Center on the day of salon's opening, on Monday, May 24, 1999. On Saturday, November 6, 1999 "AutoZAZ-Daewoo" declared about the reduction of prices of the cars, produced by the company. It is foreseen the pre-New Year discounts. In Particular, Lanos will cost 20% cheaper, but as the JV fixed its prices in hryvnyas, starting from the April 1, the size of discount, in fact, will make up 37%. The maximum discount of the model "Nubira"- is 31%, Tavria and Tavria Nova - 30%, Slavuta - 21%. According to the JV's press-service information, Kim Vu Dzhung, the chairman of the DAEWOO-group and the 12 presidents of the basic subdivisions of the corporation made a declaration on retirement.
