A summer country-house of Minister of Transport and Communication Heorhiy Kyrpa in settlement Bortnichi outside Kiev photographed on Tuesday, December 28, 2004. On the 27th of December, 2004 Ukrainian Transport Minister Heorhiy Kyrpa was found dead with head gunshot wound at his summer country-house in settlement Bortnichi outside Kiev. Kyrpa was considered as the most influential and rich person in Ukraine. At some time he was the most probable candidate for the post of Prime Minister and as President Kuchma’s successor.
