Tu-334 middle-arterial airplane

The UNIAN Archive Tu-334 middle-arterial airplane. The Kyiv-based Aircraft works "Aviant" will be the major subcontractor in the fulfilling of the Russian-Iranian agreement on the licensed assembly of the 100 Tu-334 airplanes. The agreement is supposed to be sighed by Russia and Iran in the nearest future. According to Vladimir Kovtun, the Aviation Technologies Office Manager, the other schedule is practically impossible, as at the present time the 'Aviant" conducted the preparations for the series output of the middle-arterial Tu-334 in the whole size, while no one other Russian plant, in particular, Samara-based or Taganrog-based factories are not ready to begin the aircraft producing.
