Andrey Saminin.Shooting of serial ”How the Steel Tempered”

The Ukrainian actor Andrey Saminin plays a part of Pavel Korchagin in the Ukrainian-Chinese TV-serial "How the Steel Tempered". The film was shot in Kyiv in February-September, 1999. The Chinese director Khan Gan shot the serial TV-film, which was dated for the 1st October - the 50th anniversary of the Chinese National Republic (CNR) foundation. The novel "How the Steel Tempered", written by Nikolay Ostrobvsky - is one of the most popular books in the CNR. The book was republished in China more than 300 times: total edition - 12.5 millions.
