Initiator of rescue of a military sailing vessel of the first part of XVIII century, famous Russian musician Andrey Makarevich watches it raising from the water, Zaporozhye, Saturday, November 6, 2004. The vessel is one of 20 rowing brigantines which building began in 1737 by vice-admiral Naum Senyavin by order of Russian emperor Peter the Great. The vessel was revealed by Zaporozhye hydroarchaeologists in sping 1999. Archaeologists suppose that the brigantine sank during the spring drifting of ice of 1739. Photo by UNIAN
