"Vepr" was designed on demand of Ukrainian security services by Precise engineering scientific center of Ukraine's National space agency. Having increased terrorism and military conflicts turned to more local ones Ukrainian military plants change the type of arms they develop. The "Vepr" machine gun is based on world famous Russian Kalashnikov weapon. However the Ukrainian analogue is 200 grams lighter, 25% shorter and has doubled firing accuracy. The ammunition is used the same as in Kalashnikov AK-74. Technical specifications: caliber - 5,45 mm, total length - 702 mm, barrel length - 415 mm, weight with empty magazine - 3,45 kg, magazine capacity - 30 cartridges, dioptric type sight.
