Veterans of the Ukrainian Rebellious Army march towards the downtown Lviv holding the portrait of Stepan Bandera, on Sunday, Oct 14, 2001. October 14 is the day of the Protection of the Virgin, passed for the protector of Ukrainian Cossacks, that is why this day is considered to be the day of Cossacks. Besides on October 14, 1942 the Ukrainian Rebellious Army was founded. In Drogobych (Lviv Oblast) the ceremonial opening of the monument to Stepan Bandera, devoted to the 59th Anniversary of URP foundation took place. In Rovno the temple in memory to the URP-North Commander-in-Chief Klim Savur was sanctified.
