Model of railway river crossing during the opening ceremony of railway traffic at the Darnytsa rail-and-road bridge in Kiev, on Monday, September 27, 2010. Construction of the bridge began in 2004, the project provides the total length of the bridge amounting to 1,066 m, 2 railway tracks, 6 lanes of traffic for motor transport. The capacity of the bridge will reach 60 thousand cars and 120 pairs of trains per day. The estimate cost of building of bridge is 9 milliards 157 million UAH (864 million euro) from which 4 milliards 254 million UAH (212 million euro) is cost of road-transport part.
