People's deputies Vladimir Filenko, left, shows the piece of metal, extracted out of the body, which is considered to belong to journalist Georgyi Gongadze (found on November 2 in forest of the Tarashchinskyi region, Kyivska oblast) on the press-conference in the UNIAN agency in Kyiv, on Monday, November 20, 2000. Right - People's Deputy Alexander Zhir. A piece of metal corresponds to the metal splinter on the old roentgenogram of Gongadze's hand. The body identification was carried out in accordance with the roentgenogram. The both deputies consider that it is profitable for somebody not to prove that this is Gongadze's body. They declared, that they are sure of the try to "take the investigation away from the point.
The First Vice -Minister of Interior Nikolay Dzhiga declared that on the VR (Parliament) sitting on November 16 that now there does not exist any reasons to confirm that the body has something to do with that disappeared journalist.
