216th Anniversary of Simferopol foundation
The participants of the holiday round in honor of the 216th Anniversary of Simferopol foundation with the ecological placards on their backs speak ti each other before the start on Sunday, June 4, 2000, in the city center. On June 3-4 Simferopol-dwellers celebrated the Day of City, founded on the order of Ekaterina the II by prince Potemkin in 1784 on the site of the Tatar’s settlement Akmechet.
