VII Congress of Ukrainian Green Party

Vitaly Kononov, the leader of the Party of Greens of Ukraine (PGU) at the opening of the first stage of the VII Congress of PGU (Saturday, May 22, 1999). The Congress nominated Vitaly Kononov for the President elections. Kononov declared that he would reach the end of elections and would never cancel his candidature in favour of anybody; the Party would never join any other political power and would assert its ideology.
