COMM UNIAN ARCHIVE Specialists in radiation safety measure the level of radiation pollution that amounts to 2 milliroentgen per hour, exceeding the allowable level by a factor of 150, at the place of village Kopachi, demolished after Chornobyl’s disaster, situated at the distance 6 km from Chornobyl’s atomic power-station, Wednesday, September 15, 1999. According to information given by Elena Mykolaychuk, the head of the State nuclear regulation committee, the radius of the estrangement zone can be reduced from 30 km to 10 km.
