Crimean Tatar

An old woman going near the monument to A. S. Pushkin in Bahchysaray (Crimea), on Monday, May 12, 2008. On May 18, 2008 there was the 64th anniversary of deportation of Crimean Tartars from Crimea. The deportation of Crimean Tartars from Crimea started in 1944. According to different data, from 180 thousand to 190 thousand of people were sent from the territory of peninsula, they were deportee to Central Asia and Siberia.
