A visitor of the exhibition “Celebrities in photoportraits” of Russian painter Catherine Rozhdestvenska hides besides the photoportrait of singer Nickolay Baskov in the image of Napoleon Bonaparte on Saturday, March 5, 2005 in Lvov. Professional translator, the daughter of poet Robert Rozhdestvensky, Catherine Rozhdestvensa began to work with the photoportrait series “Private collection” in journal “ The caravan of history” in 1999. The peculiarity of the photoportraits is reincarnation of her models for heroes of painting of Serov, Vrubel, Vasnetsov, Mone, Rembrandt, Renuar et cetera. There is the updated collection supplemented by the project “Associations” (the reincarnation of famous actresses into flowers) and “Relatives” (conventionalized shooting of celebrities in domestic life) in Lvov now.
